Fogel Family Condolences

Please, Please, bless Itamar and the Fogel Family by leaving your messages of support and condolences as a "comment" in this post.

Just click Here to leave your comment.

I am sure they would love to know your name and where you are from or you can be anonymous. I want to see hundreds of messages sent on to the family and the whole community of Itamar who has been traumatised by this incident.  Itamar is a VERY small and tight knit community.

Your donation to the "Friends of Itamar" non-profit would also be a very timely help at such a horrible time for them.  Click on "Ways To Bless Itamar" to donate.

Thank you for taking the time to bless our friends.

UPDATE:  I have received several messages from people having trouble trying to post their comment.  The problem is with the blog service and is very random.  Please try again to comment.  If you are still having problems, email me a elizabeth@blessitamar.com and I will do my best to post your message for you.  Just know that G-d sees your heart even if the comment doesn't reach us.  Your prayer has been heard.  Thank you.

  5. Our hearts are crushed along with yours as those haters of good and righteous Jewish people are still able to target and kill G-d's people. Such an outrage!

  14. I read about this tragedy when I got the Jerry Golden newsletter. He stated that there was dancing in the streets of the Palestinians when they heard. How sad for the Israelis and how sad for those that did this horrible act AND the ones who were dancing in the streets. God will not be mocked and judgement is coming. I pray peace on those who remain in Itamar and all those that loved the victimes.

  29. May the senseless and tragic murders of these holy martyrs be a zechus for our people and may their heartbreaking sacrifice serve as a wake up call to the world and to the Israeli government. We can no longer bow to political pressure from anyone, we can only act in the best interest of the land of Israel and its people, despite any fallout or critiscm this will result in. We must have an unwavering faith and resolve to this mission, and know that Hashem will protect us from our enemies now, like he has in the past. We are an eternal people, and the covenant between us and Him is eternal, Israel is a land of miracles and we must act with strength and tenacity not weakness and pandering. Fogel family, surviving a horrific ordeal like this tests you on many levels, our hearts break with you, our tears fall with you, our blood boils in anger and outrage with you. May this tragedy prove to bear positive fruits in the coming dark times that are coming for our land and our people, and like similar tragedies in our past, teach the world and the Israeli government "to never forget". May this happen soon and may you be comforted knowing that the deaths of your loved ones were the catalyst for the changes that will be neccesaay for us tomorevail in the face of such demonic evil.

  31. Naomi, you are right on the mark! Israel can not look to America or the world for its help or approval. I pray that the leadership in Israel will align themselves with the plans and purposes of the Most High. Irael's ONLY protection is from our G-d. I too pray that this horrible sacrifice of the Fogels will be the catalyst for change and strength of will in all of Israel. I also pray for the strengthening and comfort of the Fogel children who will have to bear the burden of this sacrifice. Naomi - well said.

  39. Family Fogel are kedoshim, in that they went up to shamayim al kidush Hashem on the holiest day of the week. The Gemara says that those who go to enternal life on shabbat, are called kadosh. They are now basking in Hashem's glory. Although it is very hard for us on earth, we are happy that they are being rewarded in shamayim. May we use this tragic event to choose just one mitzvah to constantly do a bit better, in their memory & in this way may we help bring the mashiach, when we will be re-united with the special Fogel family.

  65. Hi.
When i first heard about this insane massacre and the details emerged of this insane 'murder',i could only feel anger ,then i felt admiration for the people of Israel for showing this much restraint in the face of this ordeal, then finally i realized that their loss brought Israel closer together and that building will start again, out of all this evil only good prevailed. My prayers and thoughts go out to the surviving children and their relatives, in moments like this the whole world should stand up and say 'today i am also a Jew' stop this hatred. May God take care of their souls and give swift justice to their killers.

  80. If words can bring comfort, feel the embrace, support, love, sorrow and tears in these words. There is no recipe which can truly bring the comfort of spirit and heart that you need at this time but my hope is that you will find some consolation in the support and love sent to you by people of every sort from far and wide. In the shadow of the madness which prevailed on Shabbat, you will have the strength to show all of Israel how to carry on: To build, to grow, to teach Torah and love; to look to the future and to the glory of Hashem. May all of the tears shed around the world for the souls and pain of Harav Ehud, Ruthie, Yoav, Elad and Hadas z"l wash away your tears and suffering. May Hashem see that the sacrifices of Am Yisrael are enough and bring us Geulah Shlemah. These words are clumsy and ignorant but from the heart. May you know no more sorrow. May retribution come swiftly from the hands of Hashem.

I and my family live thousands of miles away, but we are with you in this darkest hour. We are pained by the loss of your loved ones, they were our brothers, sisters, sons and daughters as well. How precious they were. They have returned home to the One Above and are at peace, it is us that are left with the gaping hole in our hearts and the questions. They reached the highest level that anyone could ever reach by dying Al Kiddush Hashem. May you have the strength to continue to follow in their footsteps and to bring nachas to their neshamos that will always be watching you and looking out for you. When the shiva is over and you begin this new life without those that were always there for you, please know you are not alone. I and so many others will be thinking of you, the shearis hapleita, and will be standing by to help you in any way that we can. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and that we pray you are enveloped in G-d's eternal care and that you feel only His love for you.
The world is often a cruel and heartless place and it seems that there is no justice and perhaps that is true, but there is mercy for you and you will find it as you continue on as you live and learn and grow into the holy Jews that your parents were rearing you to be. Be true to the Torah and to the values and ideals of your family, right now the world is a bleak and awful place and so much has been ripped from your young lives, you have experienced loss that no one should have to and my heart aches for you, how I wish I could hold you and tell you that it will be fine, but I know better ... no one has the right to tell you how to grieve or when you should feel anything. Please do know that you are in our prayers and that there are people in America who mourn with you and wish to comfort you ib your loss.

  154. Oh dear, dear Fogel family and Itamar (and in fact all of Israel),

I truly don't know what to say, until a few days ago, you were unknown to us, now you are close to so many. We see your names and faces before us constantly' in all we do and think and when we try to sleep. Am Yisrael is shedding many, many tears now and all our history is screaming out loud before us if we listen, we are so llinked, all the tears of all the years but more than the tears there is a LOVE. You have already given us SO,SO much strength, through the articles and stories! strength to carry on in our new aliya day to day struggle as we battle to learn hebrew and adjust to so many things' but we know we are linked in our love of this land and our people and have chosen to give up so much to be here, you have given us strength to strongly encourage others to follow this aliya path and help one another just get here, be here and if this we could give to you in our own small way, to help build the nation and the land, focusing on our beloved South African jewish community. I know that the community there in Africa and those who have chosen to be living here, have you all constantly in their hearts, all of you and just sending spiritual thoughts of love and strength. These are some ways to stand up to the enemies. Thank you for giving us the strength to continue being here and to now help others. For the last 5 days great pain in the world but also great love to you and from you all, outwards. Hard to think about Purim in just a few short days. Again just love and strength, love and strength from strangers yet...family.
