  1. Dear Children, You may never meet me, for I live far, far away. You lost your parents, your brothers, and your sister in this incomprehensible horror. Throughout the world we cry in grief with you. Were our arms long enough, we would wrap them around the world and rock you all and hug you, until all of our tears run dry. Were our eyes far-sighted enough, we would rejoice in every mitzvah that we will see you yet do. Were our ears fine enough, we would cry with joy at the many simchas you have yet to celebrate. Could we shout loud enough, we would proclaim how proud your parents are of you, just because you are. Know that even though they are no longer here, they would wish to tell the world of their love for you - how special you are. May the memory of your parents be for a blessing. May we all only celebrate simchas in the future. Sarah Shulamis, Houston, TX

  4. Dear dear children, I cried when I read of the death of your parents and siblings. How brave now you will have to be in the days that lie ahead. May He who comforts Israel and neither slumbers nor sleeps draw very close to you and may you feel his presence. I posted and have told as many people that I could about your story and I will never forget the pictures I have seen. I wish very much that you had not had to go through this. Praying for you. 13. I am so sorry. What happened to this family, just makes your blood curl. To see the vile acts of evilperpretrated upon this beautiful family, chills a person to their bones. Here was a peaceful family just doing what they were commanded to do, to rebuild and resettle in their homeland. What exactly does justice look like and what would compensate this family and community for the evil that was visited upon them? Again, I am so sorry, this community and this family will be in mine and my families prayers.

  14. Dear Fogel Family (of Blessed Memory), and to all Israel:
    I am a Bible-believing Christian. I join with all of you in grief and horror at this latest outpouring of the innocent blood of Israel. I am in prayer and concern DAILY for the well-being (shalom) of Jerusalem and for all Israel(Ps.122; Is.62). I want you to know, that you are NOT alone in your ordeal of sorrow. Around the world, people of G-d weep with you, and we turn to the Holy Word for comfort and guidance in such a time as this. We take renewed encouragement from the Holy Word (The Tenakh), that the G-d of Israel WILL strengthen and reward you to POSSESS the Land (Ha'Aretz), in obedience to your everlasting covenant with Him as His People. We join with you to bless, glorify, and sanctify the Great and Holy NAME of the L-rd G-d of Israel, even unto the shedding of our own blood as witness.
    L'ma'an Tzion Virushalayim -
    For the sake of Zion and Jerusalem,

    We are shocked, so sad, utterly disturbed by the horrible news about the beautiful Fogel family. There are no words to describe the pain we feel with you - and still we know that we certainly can't imagine the pain the immediate family feels. We just want to assure you of our love and prayer and we would like to remind you that the Almighty God, whom we often do not understand, is there for you. Call unto Him in honest prayer, He is listening and He very much understands your pain and He will comfort you. 26. I heard Psalm 121 for the first time the other night.Even though I had read it before, this time the way that it was spoken seemed to illuminate in a way that was so heavy. I thought I would leave it as a prayer from a family who has been burdened by your tragic losses. We love you and know that the mighty arm of God shall see you through this. Thank you for your example of faith through this storm! I pray that the LORD will lay you on my heart every time that you may need to be comforted.
    LORD, comfort the Fogel's during this time and strengthen them in a way that only you can. I pray this from your written Word in Psalm 121, 1I lift up my eyes to the hills.
    From where does my help come?
    2 My help comes from the LORD,
    who made heaven and earth.
    3He will not let your foot be moved;
    he who keeps you will not slumber.
    4Behold, he who keeps Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
    5The LORD is your keeper;
    the LORD is your shade on your right hand.
    6The sun shall not strike you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
    7The LORD will keep you from all evil;
    he will keep your life.
    8The LORD will keep
    your going out and your coming in

We are from a midsize midwest community in the U.S and as we see the terrorism and terror that abounds in the world, being Christian Zionist we see out LORD JESUS and The Holy Sprit have prepared us for such times. As we see the move of south and central America as well as the EU excepting the P.A as a false state. G_d told us in Zacheriah that Jeruselmem would become a burden to the world.

    Many countires and their people see that Israel needs the U.S as an ally, they should know that Israel is God's chosen people and land. They do not need the help of any ally such as the U.S. God will have his vengenace for the Fogels and all things evil done to Israel.

  50. There are no perfect words to express the grief that I feel for all personally affected by this tragedy, I can say, however, that my heart breaks for those who suffer from loss and shock at this time. I do wish, nevertheless, that those who have lost their loved ones feel Ha'Shem's presence, albeit in some way, and believe that Ha'Shem's love will heal the immense sorrow that is felt by so many at this time. May the members of the Fogel family who are now in heaven rest in peace for eternity, and to those family members (especially the children) may only happiness and simchas follow you for the rest of your days. And, to the entire town of Itamar, (a town I personally adore) may you grow and become a great force that will strengthen the love for Eretz Israel by the Jewish people, both here in Israel, and in the Galut. Once again, many condolences and may you be comforted by all who share in your grief.

  70. My heart goes out to Tamar, Roi and Yishai, their entire extended family, the people of Itamar and the people of Israel. I was shocked and horrified at the senseless execution of the Fogels in Itamar. It made me cry for them, for their family and for this world where such things still happen.

    I tried to leave a long message yesterday which never appeared. So I’m writing another.

    Hadas was a heavenly, little angel, Elad was a beautiful young child, Yoav was a handsome boy and their parents, Udi and Ruth sound like wonderful, loving parents. They were a blessing to their community.

    The worthless monsters who murdered these decent, caring people clearly have no hearts and no souls. They are the darkest sort of evil that exists today on this planet.

    Tamar, you are a remarkably poised, intelligent, and lovely young lady for your age. I saw your interview and was struck by your strength of character and calm, mature conversation. You have an inner beauty that is quite rare and it shines through on your pretty face. You have been given a terribly heavy burden, and I hope you get enough emotional help so you can grow up to be the well-balanced, truly outstanding woman I see within you.

    I will be sending prayers to Tamar, Roi and Yishai for many years to come. You are all a part of your parents and they will live on through the three of you. I am certain your parents were, and would continue to be, very proud of you. Their love will be with you always.

    I hope I can finally post this message. I am sure there are many, many others who are trying to send you condolences on this website and also having trouble getting through to you.

    Blessings to Tamar, Roi and Yishai, their family and friends. May the love and prayers flowing to you from hundreds of thousands of good people all around the world sustain you in the coming days and years.

    Carol from California, U.S.A.

But I do know that God is Just, He Comforts and Blesses those who are Mourning, He is Soveriegn, He Loves You, He is Merciful, and the life that we live on this earth will be full of testing and trials that builds up our faith in Him. My whole family is sending our Love to You. May God comfort you during this time of such great sorrow.

  77. From my family in Ontario, Canada: We grieve and mourn with you. Our hearts were so broken to hear of this dreadful and senseless crime against innocents.
    We pray God's special measures of strength, comfort, hope and blessings will uplift and keep you, and that He will give you the peace which passes all understanding.

  78. This was and IS a terrible tragedy. My Hashem comfort you in your time of sorrow. We pray for Hashem to strengthen you daily. These evil perpetrators want the destruction of the Jewish people and they have NO neshema. But despite this, you all will prevail in great and mighty ways. We must fight onward and soon Maschiach will bring us everlasting peace.

  80. Dear Family, You are in our prayers. May the God of all Creation shine His face upon you and give you comfort in this difficult time. We pray that His abundant mercy and grace will over shadow the depth of despair that this tragedy has brought to your lives. We pray daily for the peace of Jerusalem and for the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit upon the Jewish people, their leaders, and warriors. Blessed be the name of the Lord. It is in Him that we rejoice for He only is good and righteous and true. Our hearts break for your loss; they ache at the very thought of such a heinous crime. The Lord spoke to Moses and instructed him to speak to the children of Israel: "Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. 'So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them.'” Numbers 6:23-27 May this come to pass for you and all Israel.

  90. I share the G-d of Israel with you. My heart is burning for a love for you. I came to Itamar with Pastor Biltz in May 2008. Mayor Rabbi Mosche and Leah shared hours with us as we sat in your school. I was in awe of the happy children loving to learn Torah. You served us cookies and drinks...thank you so so much. My eyes have tears as I feel the lose of these little ones. May HaShem bless you and guard you as you seek no revenge as we know Yahweh is the avenger. Joshua crossed over the Jordan where you are at Itamar. You will cross many Rivers in the future as Elohim will protect you. This horrifc sacrifice is resounding throughout the world. 92. Our words cannot express the emotions we feel at your enormous loss... We believe God when he says in Psalm 85:8, "He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones..." We pray that you will know that peace...
    Psalm 83
    "O God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still.
    For, behold, Thine enemies make an uproar; and those who hate Thee have exalted themselves. They make shrewd plans against Thy people, and conspire together against Thy treasured ones......So pursue them with Thy tempest, and terrify them with Thy storm. Fill their faces with dishonor, that they may seek Thy name, O Lord. Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever; and let them be humiliated and perish. That they may know that Thou alone, whose name is the Lord, art the Most High over all the earth."

  93. We pray that this precious family will find comfort and peace during this difficult time...
    Psalm 83
    O God, do not remain quiet; do not be silent and, O God, do not be still. For, behold, Thine enemies make an uproar; and those who hate Thee have exalted themselves. They make shrewd plans against Thy people, and conspire together against Thy treasured ones. They have said, "Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, that the name of Israel be remembered no more."......So pursue them with Thy tempest, and terrify them with Thy storm. Fill their faces with dishonor, that they may seek Thy name, O Lord. Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever; and let them be humiliated and perish, that they may know that Thou alone, whose name is the Lord, art the Most High over all the earth."

    May God bless you and Itamar as you stand strong in Him...

  96. My heart still breaks each time I see the images of such a beloved family. When I first read about this I was so disturbed that for three days I held it until I could no longer restrain the tears and openly wept. I saw how close in ages Hadas and Elad are to my own two children and could only grieve that such atrocity could be inflicted on innocents, the parents included. Know that the tears are not shed alone and that the world does indeed mourn. I pray God blesses you and all of Israel. My condolences and continued promise that myself and many others stand with Israel and especially the Fogel family.
